by the sea

Sometimes surf trips turn into drawing trips... Either way I'm one happy artist by the sea!

pink scary

Long sunny days drawing by the sea are giving my pink pencils a run for their money!

dead ant

Feet in the air like you just don't care!

This little dance move/life move is called Dead-Ant...

Say the words 'dead-ant' to my Dad and he'll drop to the ground with feet and hands flailing... Any time, any place. Yep total kook, but all the best ones are.

Sorry Pops, secrets out. Now go get him kids!

vintage and cacti

The mega babes at Arcade Vintage Boutique in Byron Bay are busy playing dress ups and channeling Stevie Nicks...

Aside from some of the best vintage you'll find this side of Arizona, the girls have got some of my original cactus artworks up for grabs!

Like this guy. Acrylic, pen and spray paint on paper, framed and ready to roll!

play it cool

Just playing it cool when I turned up to the studio wearing the same thing as this guy...

There are some limited edition prints of this painting available over at the Stolen Publications website!

Or as you can see I also have the original himself on hand at my studio... I'm rather keen on this handsome chap so would be happy to hold onto him, but should you fancy him for your walls don't be shy x

I have a hot pink pencil and it's 12am in Skinny-Dip City!

rat bag

Looking like a ratty little rat bag working away in the studio...

I'm pretty stoked thinking about how much time I got to spend last year with a paintbrush in hand pretending like it's some kind of job...

Ha. Lucky kid!

succulent seas

This little sea of succulents tells me that the guys at Bow and Arrow are up to something... I'm not sure what exactly but it looks like they're into a good thing with two of my paintings feeling right at home amongst it all!

Original Lauren Webster artworks are available for purchase in store at Bow and Arrow in Manly.

of thieves

Some little punks broke into my car.

The shattered glass made a glittery mess.

I put ink to paper.

Oh yummers!

So I laid down a few scribbles and illustrated the annual cookbook feature in this months Qantas Magazine.

Tasty, tasty times... eat your vegetables kids!

You can see the full story over here on my website

I was all smiles to see that in this weekends Daily Telegraph, Kristy Payne from Maison Blanche included my cactus paintings in her 'Lust List'!

"I have always dreamt of Lauren Webster's art adorning my walls. It takes me back to happy times travelling through America. I love it's quirky and laid back nature"

Ahh so chuffed, thanks Kristy! x

the last girl

The last of the girls from my 2013 Vintage Tee series is for sale!

I've kept her to myself until now because I think she's a bit of a babe... but thought I'd share the love.

If you like the look of this pretty you know who to call x
